Gingerbread House Lane at the Hyatt Hotel Vancouver

The only gingerbread house that is not edible but makes a great photo op for the whole family.

After my festive Christmas themed afternoon tea date with my girlfriends at the Fairmont Hotel, I took a 3-minute walk to the Hyatt Hotel to see the Gingerbread Lane Display featuring 30 different gingerbread houses made by various secondary schools, professionals and amateur culinary artists. The displays are situated in the lobby of the hotel and there is a donation box for guests to leave a donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation which helps grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. Gingerbread Lane will be displayed from December 1st through the 29th.

I hope you'll get a chance to see this wonderful display for a great cause.

Edible stained glass windows! I also really like the wreath idea with sprinkles.
Look at that clear blue skating pond!
This is a very grand replica of the parliament buildings. It's one of the bigger gingerbread displays there.

A Disney mansion complete with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy.
Daisy looks so cute! And I almost missed Donald there.
They even have a car with a Christmas tree strapped on top.

This house has gone vertical!

This texture on this cathedral makes it look so realistic.
